Don’t need a product to sell a product

I was watching a great course from udemy and found this great concept:

I’ve known this concept, but I think he makes a great example of how he does it, and some good tips on the mindset of this concept.

How: He pays some money to drive traffic to a page that describes a product that doesn’t exist, and have a button for people to pay and fill in credit card info. After payment it would say, “Oh sorry, this product isn’t actually out yet”. Great way to test the market.

Mindset: You don’t need to be great at something, or have something great to sell, before you sell it. In fact, nobody’s shit is great.¬†Facebook or groupon wasn’t great at day one. You become great by selling initially and improving it based on market feedback..
